1. Placing a sheet of aluminum foil in the bottom of a pan,

2. Add 2-3 inches of water, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt and bring to a boil. 

3. Allow the solution to cool down then carefully add your silver jewelry, making sure the water covers the silver pieces. 

4. Remove your jewelry, rinse dry and buff with a soft cloth.  Do not use paper towels as this can scratch sterling and fine silver.
